Bev and her team are amazing! I was diagnosed with breast cancer 12 month ago. As if having breast cancer wasn’t enough the though of losing my hair was very daunting, having always had long hair. From the initial consultation with Melina I felt at ease. She was kind, compassionate and just has a beautiful nature. She really understood what loosing your hair meant and felt like and the standard of service was excellent. I have been attending Bev’s salon now for 12 months and take my wig back for regular maintenance, washing and styling, which has kept my wig in great condition. There wigs really do not look like wig! I always have a bit of a laugh as some of the mums at my son’s school who don’t know I’ve had breast cancer comment how good my hair looks that early in the morning! When I tell them I’m wearing a wig they can’t believe it! Even when my hair grows back I think I’ll be keeping it! I just put on my hair and I look like I just walked out of a salon!

I went into Bev’s as a brunette and walked out as a blonde. In the picture above I was in the thick of chemotherapy, my best friend had arranged to take me out for the night and I had my eyebrows and everything drawn on because I had not one ounce of hair, but I still look like I had great hair! If you are suffering hair loss, going through treatment or just simply want a change go and see Bev and her team they really are wonderful and know there stuff, you won’t be disappointed. X

Lena when she was in the thick of her chemotherapy treatment. Read above in her story of how her best friend organised to take her out one night and had organised for Lena to have her make up done to go with her freshly styled hair.
Lena’s Hair on the left is now starting to grow back after under going chemotherapy treatment, picture on the right Lena with her wig she purchased from the Beverly May Hair Salon, and still in amazing condition after 12 months of wearing it.
Picture of Lena’s wig on the left when she first purchased her wig 12 months ago and on the right Lena’s wig now 12 months later and also having had some darker low lights put into it. Regular salon maintenance helps to keep your piece in great condition and helps with the integrity of the wig.
