The Process

We want to make sure that the wig, topper or hairpiece you take home is right for you in every way. Your hair is an investment. For that reason, we don’t want to rush the process! We want to make sure you’re happy and confident with your new hair.

We recommend breaking the process up into 3 appointments:

  1. Initial Consultation: At your initial 1-hour appointment we’ll discuss potential hair options, your individual needs, pricing and try some alternative hair on! There is a $100 consult fee to be paid at the time of booking which is fully redeemable on any alternative hair purchased within 4 weeks of the consult.
     
  2. Wig Fitting: Generally we book a wig fitting 1-2 weeks after your consult (depending on stock availability). Here we make sure that your piece fits you like a glove and make any customisations or alterations necessary. Our custom made pieces can take several months as they’re made from scratch to a mould of your head
     
  3. Wash Demonstration: We want to make sure you are confident in wearing and caring for your new piece! At your wash demonstration, we’ll show you how to wash & style your hair and discuss any issues/concerns you’re having.

    Before Your Arrival

    There are just a couple of things to note before your visit:

    • You can bring a friend or family member to your consultation with you (max 1).
    • Car parking is available on site.
    • Please come in with clean, washed hair.
    • Bring any inspiration photos you may have of hair you like!

    If you are travelling from interstate or regional SA please let us know so we can allow a longer appointment time & send through some photos of your hair/desired look so we can have some options that may be suitable here for you to try on.

    Cancellation Policy

    When you book an initial consult with Beverly May Hair, we set that time and stylist just for you. From 28th October 2022 the initial consult fee of $100 will be need to be paid over the phone at the time of booking.

    If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or simply do not show up to your appointment, it impacts us significantly and inconveniences many other clients that have been turned away because we were fully booked.

    We require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel or re-schedule your appointment. The consult fee is non-refundable if you can cancel with less than 24 hours notice or do not show up on the day.

    If you reschedule with more than 24 hours prior to your appointment, the payment will carry over to your new time.

    In order to secure your appointment, we require the $100 consultation fee to be paid at the time of booking. This $100 covers the cost of your appointment and is fully redeemable on alternative hair purchased within 4 weeks of the consult.

    • If the appointment is rescheduled with more than 24 hours notice, the consult fee is forwarded to the new appointment time.
    • If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, the consult fee is forfeited as a late cancellation fee.
    • If you simply do not show up to a booked appointment, the consult fee is forfeited as a no-show fee.
