Yes! We guarantee our hair extensions are 100% Human Remy Hair. This means that not only do we leave the cuticles intact but that all the cuticles run downwards on the hair shaft. This is considered to be the finest quality hair.

On average, and if the Beverly May care instructions are followed, extensions should last up to 12 months. To protect your natural hair and prolong the life of the extensions regular maintenance, or ‘lifting’, is required.

Yes, in-fact, when wearing Skins the extensions can be completely removed with ease and full head colours can be achieved. With our Tips, your hairdresser will easily be able foil around them or apply full head colours provided that peroxide is kept away from the bonds at the top of the extensions.

Unless you are a professional colourist who has worked with colouring extensions before, we don’t recommend colouring your extensions. It is always best to have a trained technician consult you to match your extensions to your natural hair.

In most cases, the Beverly May range has a product to suit all hair types. You will need a consultation with an accredited Beverly May Salon to determine which system is right for you. Because all our extensions are free of glues and chemicals they are gentle on your natural hair.

You can still put your hair up, but it is advisable not to do so too tightly or often as you don’t want to put excessive tension on the roots of you natural hair. Depending on your own hair and the amount or type of extensions in your hair, there may be a few styles that are harder to achieve.

Swimming in chlorinated or salt water is never a good idea for extension wearers. If water cannot be avoided it is vital that you tightly plait your hair prior to swimming and immediately rinse hair after. A moisture intensive hair care plan or frequent salon treatment would also be advisable.

Most salons offer a free consultation. As people’s needs vary, it is important for the consultant to see your hair to work out the best option for you, and provide a quote. Your hairdresser will also advise you of the ongoing costs in regards to having the extensions maintained and the best products for you to use to ensure you get the most out of you new hair extensions.

As our pieces are custom made to match your natural hair in texture, colour and movement, Hair Solutions pieces blend perfectly.

After your consultation and order, custom made pieces take approximately 10 – 12 weeks.

Depending on how custom made your Hair Solutions piece is, prices start from $495.

When you receive your new hair piece we provide one-on-one instruction on how to wear and care for your new hair, as well as ongoing support, should you need it. You will also receive a Hair Solutions care instruction card.

As people move around a lot during sleep it is strongly discouraged, this is because the clips can pull on your natural hair creating hair loss. It can also cause matting as well as being extremely uncomfortable.

Swimming in chlorinated or salt water is extremely detrimental to Hair Solutions pieces. If water cannot be
avoided it is advisable to remove your Hair Solutions piece before going into the water

Hair solutions pieces are custom made to integrate with your natural hair, whereas a wig covers the whole head. Hair Solutions pieces also tend to be lighter and more comfortable to wear.
